• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Professional, responsible attitude with a commitment to high standards.
• Willingness to undertake training and support others.
• Full driving licence and own transport.

The business is known for its commitment to responsible aquaculture, producing premium-quality salmon through low-impact farming methods across remote coastal sites. This hands-on role supports the upkeep, repair and safe operation of equipment across seawater, freshwater and vehicle assets playing a key part in maintaining operational efficiency, environmental compliance and fish welfare standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery and equipment, supporting both seawater and freshwater operations. You’ll also assist with moorings work, liaise with skippers and site teams, and ensure all vehicles meet MOT standards. This is a varied role requiring technical skill, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and making a real impact across the business.

The successful Mechanical Fitter will work full-time hours, primarily Monday to Friday, with flexibility to support overtime - including weekends when required. In return, a competitive salary is offered based on a 40-hour week, with enhanced overtime rates of 1.5x the standard rate during weekdays and 1.75x at weekends.
