Job summary

Holt Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for an on-site, hands-on installation project. You will work on high and low-pressure compressed air systems and deliver quality installation to required standards.

The role operates on day shifts, requires CSCS and IPAF (3a/3b), and involves practical mechanical fitting, pipework installation, and safe use of access equipment on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• IPAF licence covering 3a and 3b.
• Experience with high- and low-pressure compressed air pipework installation.
• Experience with mechanical fitting on site and pipework installation.
• Ability to work safely in a site environment.

Job description

I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team, working on a hands-on industrial installation project. This is a great opportunity for a skilled fitter who enjoys practical site-based work and wants to be involved in the installation of high and low-pressure compressed air systems.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be working on days, with shifts running between 07:30 and 17:30, carrying out mechanical installation work to the required standards.

Responsibilities

• Installing high-pressure compressed air pipework
• Installing low-pressure compressed air pipework
• Carrying out practical mechanical fitting and installation duties
• Working safely while operating access equipment where required
• Ensuring installation work is completed to the required standards

For this Mechanical Fitter position, you will need:

Requirements

• A valid CSCS card
• A valid IPAF licence covering 3a and 3b
• Experience using scissor lifts and mobile boom equipment
• Relevant mechanical fitting and pipework installation experience
• The ability to work safely and effectively within a site environment
