Qualifications

Mechanical Fitter

Location: Tilbury

Hours: 40/week overtime

Salary: £25 - £30 per hour - Contract.

Join our team as a Mechanical Fitter, installing kilns, furnaces, pipework, and automation systems on site in Tilbury.

What you’ll do:

• Install & dismantle machinery, pipework, and automation systems
• Fabricate and assemble steelwork, pipe systems, and components
• Read and work from technical drawings & layouts
• Report issues and complete relevant paperwork
• Work in varied environments (including confined spaces, heights, and noisy areas)
• Maintain high H&S standards

What we’re looking for:

• 2 years' fitting/installation experience
• Ability to read drawings & layouts
• Hands‑on with tools: drilling, grinding, welding, etc.
• Full clean driving licence
• CSCS or SPA card essential
• IPAF, PASMA, FLT licence – preferred
