As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping critical assets in top condition. You will be working on heavy vehicles, performing fitting and maintenance duties across them. Typical tooling will include calibrated tools and power assisted tools, as well as performing torque tightening, so previous experience using this equipment is required. Our client is open to any background, providing you have used the listed tooling and have experience within plant, vehicle or machinery maintenance.
This role requires you to work on a split shift rota which is outlined below :
Week 1 : Monday – Thursday 06 : 00- 14 : 30, with a 13 : 30 finish time on Friday.
Week 2 : Monday – Thursday 14 : 00 – 22 : 30, Friday 10 : 30 – 18 : 00.
As part of joining a safety-critical environment, you will complete pre-employment checks including a rail medical and drug and alcohol screening, supporting your readiness for the role.
