Mechanical Fitter

💰 Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

📍 Location: Doncaster
🕒 Hours: 40 per week | Mon-Thu 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-14:00

We're on the hunt for a hands‑on Mechanical Fitter to join a busy engineering team, working on high‑quality machinery. This role mixes workshop work with on‑site installation and commissioning, including travel.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Mechanical assembly and build of general machinery
  • Pneumatic panel and machine assembly
  • Small fabrication tasks - welding, burning, drilling
  • Machine testing and troubleshooting
  • Installation and commissioning on‑site (national & international travel ~6 weeks/year)
What You Bring:
  • Strong mechanical and pneumatic assembly skills
  • Experience with transmission drives and structural assemblies
  • Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge is a bonus
  • Hands‑on attitude and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a workshop or industrial environment
