A leading engineering recruitment agency is looking for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join a well-established team in the UK. Mechanical Field Service Engineer

Field based, covering the UK.

£14.00 to £16.00 per hour, door to door pay + weekly pay + company van, mobile, laptop, fuel card + overtime + expenses.

Are you a Mechanical Field Service Engineer looking to join a well-established UK engineering company with an excellent reputation for quality and staff development?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied role, carrying out installation and refurbish and maintenance work across a range of client sites. You'll receive full product training, along with opportunities to enhance your technical skills.

The company is a trusted name in their industry, supplying high-quality engineering solutions across commercial and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC, air handling units, or general building services, who is happy to travel and stay away when required.

The Role
  • Installation/service/maintenance of bespoke air handling units including fans, motors and other components, mechanical fault finding, test and quality inspect products using specialist equipment where necessary, supporting installation and commissioning work as required
  • Read and interpret technical CAD drawings for installation
  • Field-based role covering the UK, with some overnight stays required (all accommodation covered and you receive £45 per day for food)

£14.00 to £16.00 per hour, door to door pay plus overtime. Earning potential £41,600+.

The Person
  • Mechanical, hands on background
  • Ability to read CAD drawings
  • NQV advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience with AHUs or similar mechanical plant would be advantageous
  • Happy and able to occasionally work at heights
