Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer for a market leading business within the Corrugation Industry who install and service equipment across sites in the UK and Ireland.

Job Summary

This is a permanent role that has been created due to continued expansion. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an Electrical maintenance based role within a manufacturing environment. Candidates will be time served (Minimum NVQ Level 3) Qualified in Mechanical Engineering. Experience of working on large scale production equipment is a must. Candidates must have experience working on a range of mechanical systems including Gearboxes, Motors, Shafts , Rollers, Chains/ Belts, Drives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to client sites across the UK and Ireland.
  • Support in Installation and Commissioning of machinery
  • Support Customer's systems to aid in improving productivity.
  • Fault finding and rectification of Mechanical Faults
  • Maintenance - Routine and Reactive maintenance covering all aspects of Mechanical work
  • Training - Operational and maintenance training of customer staff
