Mechanical Field Service Engineer

Overall earnings circa £55,000: Basic salary £40,000, Bonus £4,000, Overtime circa £5,000, Company car or £6,000 car allowance, £10 lunch allowance, Phone, laptop, tools and test equipment. Pension, private medical cover, life insurance, 27 days holiday and bank holidays. Salary review in January 2026.

The Role

Act as a technically focused Mechanical Field Service Engineer responsible for the following:

  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Service and repair of the range of technologically advanced breathing apparatus equipment
  • Ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times
Qualifications & Experience
  • Technical qualification in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Experience working as a field service engineer on mechanical or electro‑mechanical systems
  • Previous experience with breathing apparatus, safety or air‑supplied respirators is advantageous
