Mechanical Engineering Supervisor – Manufacturing

Location: Medway

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 DOE

Hours: Mon–Fri 7am – 4 Early Finish Fridays (11.30!!)

What you’ll be doing:
  • Running and organising the day-to-day operations of a department of this busy production facility
  • Supporting fault finding and tool changes on mechanical machinery
  • Liaising with production teams and the Factory Manager to meet daily and weekly targets
  • Training and mentoring operatives to ensure flexibility across the team
  • Supporting Gemba walks and continuous improvement activity
  • Collaborating with Toolroom and Maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
What you’ll need:
  • Engineering qualifications – HNC, apprenticeship or similar mechanical/production background
  • Hands‑on experience in a mechanical or manufacturing setting
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving and people management
  • Experience working with mechanical tools, jigs and fixtures
