Qualifications

• Engineering degree candidate in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Degree accreditation by the relevant institution is preferred
• Security clearance requirements: BPSS and Security Check (SC) eligibility as per GOV.UK guidance

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, assessment and delivery of mechanical systems for major nuclear programmes
• Support engineering calculations and review technical documentation
• Assist with design substantiation and safety case development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on equipment upgrades and plant modifications
• Progressively assume more responsibility and contribute to project work
