Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join a leading education and engineering client in Hull. The role focuses on delivering engaging, hands-on learning for apprentices and adult learners across a range of mechanical topics.

You will guide students through core mechanical principles, engineering maths, CAD, and design, while covering safety, lean manufacturing, and engineering management. Travel between Hull and North Lincolnshire centres is required.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering degree.
• Significant industry experience in mechanical engineering.
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A passion for teaching and developing others.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences to apprentices and adult learners.
• Guide learners through mechanical principles, engineering maths, and other key subjects.
• Teach topics such as engineering science, design, fluid mechanics, and CAD.
• Cover health & safety, lean manufacturing, and professional engineering management.
• Supervise Level 3 & 4 engineering projects and Level 5 research projects.
• Contribute to the overall development of innovative training programs.
• Travel between training centres in Hull and North Lincolnshire area.
