Job summary

Gates Dumfries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to specify, plan and deliver installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment to improve performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory and Corporate HSE requirements. You will work on projects that involve broad knowledge, supporting the team in meeting schedule and budget targets and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with steam plant, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs mechanical equipment to improve performance.
• Prepares portions of project documents and edits specifications.
• Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements.
