The Role

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage New Product Introductions (NPI) across our growing product portfolio. This key position will oversee all technical aspects of new product approval, ensuring every component meets our rigorous quality and performance standards before release to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the introduction of new products from concept through to production release.
  • Conduct and report on factory audits, supplier capability assessments, and production process reviews.
  • Oversee material and component analysis, ensuring full compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Manage product validation testing, dimensional analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth and timely launches.
  • Provide technical approval and sign-off for all new product ranges.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Skills & Experience
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in automotive component engineering or NPI management.
  • Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and quality systems (ISO/IATF).
  • Hands‑on experience with factory audits, supplier development, and product validation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Confident working with global suppliers and engineering teams.
