Job Title

Mechanical Engineer / Fitter – Multiple Locations (Including Sheffield)

Salary

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience/location)

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Carrying out fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Supporting the design, build, and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Fitter
• Strong mechanical aptitude with good problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., mechanical apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
