Job Description

Our client is a well-established, global market leader and has a permanent vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer.

You will be required to deliver the very best technical support to customers. Within the role, you will be required to support with technical inquiries, investigate product claims, testing of products for customers or other subsidiaries, creation of various technical documentation, identify, develop and deliver training, perform market research.

Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering degree, 2:1 or higher
  • Ability to plan and manage own projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of writing technical reports and engineering documentation
  • Work as part of a multicultural team who deliver results by consensus
  • Passport and driving licenses required, as there will be some UK and European travel in the role
  • Understanding of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Desirable
  • Experience in design of machined parts
  • Knowledge of CE, UKCA, UL and related standards
  • CAD, CAE basic knowledge
  • Basic Electrical Engineering knowledge
