Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a mechanically biased engineer to join one of the UK’s leading building services providers at a prestigious, long-established site in the City of London. Our client has managed this site for many years, earning a strong reputation for delivering outstanding service and reliability.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, performing remedial works, and responding promptly to emergency situations to ensure the smooth operation of site services.

Key Duties
  • PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
  • AHUs
  • FCUs
  • Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals
  • Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc)
  • Chilled Water Systems
  • Plumbing
  • Sprinklers
  • Generators
  • Pressurisation units
  • BMS Operation Requirements
Qualifications
  • Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
  • Apprentice trained - desirable
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
  • Very Client facing Package
