Job summary

A private property management company based in Chertsey is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems and swimming pool facilities. A qualified engineer with an NVQ level 2 or above in plumbing and heating is preferred. Benefits include a competitive salary, company vehicle, and unlimited overtime at x1.5.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified and experienced mechanical engineer required.
  • Knowledge of operation & maintenance of H&V plant.
  • Experience in managing stock & supplies of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps.
  • Operational responsibility for swimming pool & Jacuzzi systems.
  • Fault finding, diagnosis & repair or replacement of equipment.

Skills

Qualified Mechanical Engineer
NVQ level 2 or above in plumbing & heating
Experience with H&V systems

Education

BEng in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering
Level 2 diploma in H&V

TXM Recruit are currently working with a private property management company who provide a dedicated VIP service to worldwide clientele who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Chertsey.

Salary
  • Salary – £36,000 - £40,000/Yr + OT
  • Hours – 8/9am to 4/5pm - Monday to Friday
  • Weekends - 1-in-4 weekend shift
  • Overtime -1.5x anything over 40hrs
  • Location - Chertsey
Duties
  • Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps etc.
  • Operation & maintenance of swimming pool & Jacuzzi systems.
  • Responding to breakdowns.
  • Undertaking scheduled maintenance.
  • Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment.
  • Managing stock & supplies of equipment.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities
  • To be fully qualified & an experienced mechanical engineer.
  • NVQ level 2 or above in plumbing & heating.
  • BEng or level 2 diploma particularly in mechanical, production or electrical engineering.
  • Level 2 diploma in H&V.
