Job description
Responsibilities
  • Able to lead, supervise and coordinate all fire protection system works (fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, and suppression systems etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and authority requirements (SCDF, FSSD submissions etc.)
  • Review drawings, specification and technical documents
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve design and site issues
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems
  • Provide technical support during project execution and ensure timely delivery of fire-related works
  • Prepare reports, method statements and documentation for submission
  • Support safety compliance and risk assessments related to fire protection systems
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fire services works
  • Familiar with local regulations, SCDF Codes of Practice and FSSD submission procedures
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to ensure good site progress
  • Good safety knowledge and attitude
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Self‑motivated with good organizational skills and ability to liaise with the authorities
