Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the prison’s mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure operations.

Skills

Two years’ experience working in a role as a plumber or equivalent

Familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella (L8)

Experience with commercial or industrial heating and water systems

Good health and safety knowledge

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Good people skills

Education

Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing)

C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating)

NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
