Job Description

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in York. This client is a fast paced production facility looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Fabrication Engineer on a contract basis to carry out maintenance, repairs and fabrication work of the building. Working hours are 07:00am – 19:00pm, Saturday and Sunday.

The Role:

  • Relevant Level 3 Engineering Qualification or apprenticeship.
  • Maintenance, repairs and fabrication of the building.
  • Welding experience.
  • Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Patching of panels.
  • Flooring repairs.
  • Curbing repairs.
  • Sanding and painting of rusted metals.
  • Repairing doors.
  • General maintenance and repairs with some welding.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.

You must be available to start immediately. Pay rate is £30.00ph - £33.00ph. Working hours: 07:00am – 19:00pm, Saturday and Sunday.
