Overview

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in York. This client are a fast paced Production facility looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Fabrication Engineer on a contract basis to carry out Maintenance, repairs and fabrication work of the building.

Hours

07:00am - 19:00pm - Saturday and Sunday.

Role

• Relevant Level 3 Engineering Qualification or apprenticeship.
• Maintenance, repairs and fabrication of the building.
• Welding experience
• Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
• Patching of panels.
• Flooring repairs.
• Curbing repairs.
• Sanding and painting of rusted metals.
• Repairing doors.
• General maintenance and repairs with some welding.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.

You must be available to start Immediately.

Pay

The pay rate is £30.00ph - £33.00ph
