Overview

Mechanical Engineer – Cancer Instrumentation – Cambridge. A growing division within an established Medical Devices organisation in South Cambridge is seeking an experienced Medical Devices Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the ongoing development of cutting-edge cancer instrumentation aimed at improving patient recovery rates.

The company is expanding its team dedicated to Medical Devices Instrumentation, primarily focusing on Cancer Instrumentation. They are open to candidates with experience in other Medical Devices, provided the products were developed to ISO 13485 standards.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of cancer instrumentation and related Medical Devices.
  • Work within a Medical Devices Instrumentation team to advance life-saving technologies.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to stay at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply mechanical engineering knowledge to regulatory and quality requirements in the Medical Devices sector.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field suitable for a career in the Medical Devices sector.
  • Experience in Medical Devices Instrumentation is preferred; candidates who have worked on other Medical Devices are welcome if the products were developed to ISO 13485 standards.
