The role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be part of the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant Interface Equipment team, supporting the design and development of equipment that interfaces with submarine reactor plant systems. Your work will directly contribute to the safe operation, maintenance and refit of nuclear submarines, making a tangible impact on national defence.
Day-to-day, you’ll have a technically rewarding opportunity to develop your engineering expertise across the full design lifecycle, working on complex systems in a highly regulated environment. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to critical engineering decisions, and continue to build your professional capability within the nuclear engineering discipline. Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
