We're seeking a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join our client team. This is a hands-on role covering installation, servicing, and fault finding on a wide range of systems from residential properties to medium-scale commercial sites.

Location: Field based in around Surrey

Responsibilities
  • Install, service, repair, and maintain automated gates, access control systems, and related equipment.
  • Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics on a wide range of systems and manufacturer brands.
  • Work independently in a field-based role, covering multiple sites across London and surrounding areas.
  • Take ownership of the quality and standard of all work completed.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers at all times, providing updates and advice as needed.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to specification.
Desirable
  • Full UK driving licence - essential.
  • Open to candidates with experience in one or multiple disciplines, with a willingness to learn and develop further.
  • Good understanding of a variety of gate automation and access control manufacturers
  • Desirable qualifications include IPAF, CSCS/ECS, DHF/Gate Safe, and/or City & Guilds
  • Must be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and take pride in delivering quality work
