Overview

Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Mechanical or Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, days-based role with excellent training and the chance to work with a wide range of industrial machinery? We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join a friendly and supportive maintenance team at a fully equipped industrial site in Sandwich, Kent. Responsibilities

• Fault-find, repair, and maintain a range of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
• Work on temperature kilns, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical systems.
• Support operational efficiency and safe working practices across the site.

Qualifications

• Experienced Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Engineer, ideally with an industrial or manufacturing background.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills; basic electrical knowledge an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with temperature kilns, motors, and gearboxes preferred.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused approach to work.
