Qualifications

The Opportunity

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Exeter/Plymouth

Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £29-32,000 + overtime

45 hours a week Mon-Fri, paid door to door

Due to very high work volume, there is as much optional overtime as possible in this role, and there is the very realistic possibility of earning @50,000 a year.

About the Role

Join one of the UK’s largest Garage Equipment Providers as a home-based Field Engineer. You’ll be travelling from home to garages, MOT centres etc. to work on a variety of garage equipment, and you'll be equipped with a fully racked van to provide a seamless service.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will carry out routine maintenance, service and diagnostics on a variety of equipment such as:

  • Vehicle lifts
  • Brake testers
  • MOT bays
  • Tyre equipment

Submit accurate paperwork (Quality System & Health & Safety compliant)

Manage your van stock to meet First Time Fix targets

Continue developing your technical skills

Experience with:

  • Service and maintenance of garage equipment
  • Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Also needed:

  • Ability to follow instructions and meet standards
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
