We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Knowsley for a Mechanical Engineer. This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.30pm. This is paying 18.00 per hour, only candidates looking for a full time, permanent position are encouraged to apply.

General duties may include;

• Operation of lathe
• Operation of milling machine
• Welding duties
• General maintenance around office and factory

On offer is an hourly rate of 18.00 per hour, working 40 hours a week, initial holiday entitlement would be 20 days (plus bank holidays). After one year continuous service this would increase by one day per year, for a maximum five days. There is a service bonus of 500 per year after two years continuous service and a medicash healthcare level one after six months continuous service.
