Due to ongoing growth and investment, they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team. Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across production machinery and site equipment.
  • Work as part of a skilled maintenance team to deliver reliability improvements.
  • Support engineering projects, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, with a focus on minimising downtime.
Requirements
  • Mechanical bias
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment (forces backgrounds also considered)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Confident working with pumps, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • PC literate; IOSH or H&S qualification desirable
