Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: West London

Salary: Up to £43,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities management team responsible for maintaining a prestigious site in West London. This is a full-time, permanent role offering career development, long-term progression, and great company benefits.

As the Mechanical Engineer, you'll be working within a small team of skilled engineers to provide planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical building services systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including pumps, motors, pipework, heating systems, and AHUs
  • Monitor and maintain BMS and HVAC plant to ensure smooth operation
  • Respond promptly to mechanical faults and ensure timely resolution
  • Assist with the supervision of contractors on-site as required
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and ensure compliance with site health & safety procedures
  • Participate in site inspections, audits, and reporting where required
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong experience in building services maintenance within a commercial or critical environment
  • Good knowledge of HVAC plant, water systems, and associated mechanical systems
  • Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Right to work in the UK
