Job description

Join our client in Grangemouth as a Mechanical Engineer on a contract basis until at least June next year. You will provide mechanical engineering expertise for project and decommissioning activities, ensuring safety, reliability, and plant integrity. The role involves defining workscope, authorising repairs, and supporting plant modifications to minimise downtime.

Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering degree with some post-graduate experience.

  • Experience in plant modification and upper-tier COMAH process industries.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to work across multidisciplinary teams and levels.

  • Commitment to health and safety, with the ability to influence others’ safety behaviours.
