Key Responsibilities
- Carry out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across all site equipment.
- Work on tanks, vessels, pumps, filling systems, valves and blending equipment.
- Strip, inspect, and rebuild relief valves, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Install and maintain tanks and associated pipework to support production operations.
- Diagnose faults, prioritise maintenance tasks, and minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on plant reliability and performance.
- Participate in engineering projects including commissioning, installations, and equipment relocations.
- Work to high standards on a COMAH-regulated site, ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Record and log maintenance activities accurately using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
About You
- Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience within a chemical or COMAH-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven background in mechanical maintenance or multi-skilled engineering.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Keen to learn and develop professionally - the company is willing to invest and train the right person to a high standard.
