Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE + Bonus

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (Days-only)

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across all site equipment.
  • Work on tanks, vessels, pumps, filling systems, valves and blending equipment.
  • Strip, inspect, and rebuild relief valves, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Install and maintain tanks and associated pipework to support production operations.
  • Diagnose faults, prioritise maintenance tasks, and minimise downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on plant reliability and performance.
  • Participate in engineering projects including commissioning, installations, and equipment relocations.
  • Work to high standards on a COMAH-regulated site, ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Record and log maintenance activities accurately using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
About You
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience within a chemical or COMAH-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven background in mechanical maintenance or multi-skilled engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Keen to learn and develop professionally - the company is willing to invest and train the right person to a high standard.
