Clearance: Must be able to obtain SC Clearance

Key Objectives
  • Support Project Management to ensure outsourced mechanical design meets requirements.
  • Ensure mechanical project scope is delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain strict adherence to customer specifications and standards.
  • Review issued design and process documents.
Responsibilities
  • Verify and populate installed equipment for Asset Registers and O&M manuals.
  • Conduct site verifications to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to confirm designs are fit for purpose and propose solutions.
  • Peer review subcontractor drawings and documentation against project requirements.
  • Raise and manage technical queries through to resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, including onboarding new subcontractors.
  • Witness factory acceptance tests and project sign-off.
  • Support scheduling and task allocation for Lead Engineers and Project Management.
  • Provide on-site support to the Construction Team.
  • Participate in on-site Environment, Safety, and Health culture (ESH card).
Minimum Qualifications
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • CSCS card.
  • Eligibility for SC Clearance.
