Communal Energy Partners provide comprehensive services to clients with on‑site residential heat networks.

Our services include utilities supply, customer heat and chill billing and engineering services for the landlord and apartment plant and equipment.

An opportunity is available to join our small, London based engineering team as a Mechanical Engineer.

This is a mobile post covering a range of client sites with opportunities for progression as the portfolio continues to develop.

Key Duties
  • To carry out planned and reactive service and maintenance activities on landlord plant and equipment including that related to communal heat networks.
  • To arrange and supervise sub‑contracted works as applicable.
  • To participate in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
  • To ensure compliance with all applicable statutory instruments and regulatory obligations in the delivery of the services including the Heat Network Regulations.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures, risk assessments and method statements as required for the delivery of the services.
  • To assist the Technical Services Lead in the tactical planning and management of landlord assets for clients.
Personal Specification
  • Hold an appropriate qualification in HVAC, building services or engineering (City & Guilds, BTEC, HND etc).
  • Hold a minimum of 3 years' experience in technical services.
  • Hold a full valid UK driving licence.
  • Be familiar with applicable standards and legislation with regards the services.
  • Have experience in operating across a multiple sites.
  • Be able to work independently when required and take the initiative on action required on site.
  • To be able to communicate effectively with clients and customers.
  • To be professional and well‑presented
