Mechanical Engineer
Location: Park Royal
Salary: £45,000
Shift Pattern: Panama Shift (2,2,3)

The Role

As a Mechanical Engineer on the Panama Shift, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the manufacturing processes. You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of machinery and equipment, enhancing the efficiency and productivity of our facility. Your proactive problem‑solving skills and ability to excel under pressure will be instrumental in your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various production equipment used in snack manufacturing.
  • Responsible for the engineering stores.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues effectively.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross‑functional teams to identify process enhancement opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and execute corrective actions swiftly.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities and repair histories.
  • Uphold stringent safety protocols and procedures to contribute to a secure work environment.
