As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll work on design investigations, equipment modifications, and problem‑solving activities that make a tangible difference to performance and reliability. Day-to-day, you’ll be part of our UK In‑Service Support Technical Team, delivering engineering solutions for submarine weapon systems across the Vanguard and Astute classes. This is a role that’s out of the ordinary — you’ll help maintain and enhance systems that underpin the UK’s Continuous At Sea Deterrent (CASD), ensuring operational readiness and national security.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, provides hybrid working arrangements and may require travel to other parts of the UK.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
