Our client is currently seeking a talented Engineer to join their team and support them with a new Offshore Wind project. The company is a leading renewable engineering firm specializing in offshore wind, tidal, wave, and marine projects. Role Overview

This is a Senior / Lead / Principal mechanical engineering role focused on Offshore Wind Balance of Plant (BoP), equipment, and utilities—including cranes, pumps, generators, water systems, lifting, HVAC, T&I, and topside design.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • EPCI: any of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Operation and Maintenance for BoP for offshore platforms.
  • BoP / Offshore Equipment / Utilities for offshore wind or oil & gas substations or platforms.
  • Preparation and review of Design, O&M, RAMS, Fabrication, Manufacturing, T&I, or Commissioning activities.
  • Writing, reviewing, and improving technical and engineering requirements.
  • Review of bidders' technical offers.
  • Technical / design development clarifications.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical, Civil, Structural or similar.
  • Experience with offshore structures (oil & gas or offshore wind), especially offshore substations.
  • Advantage: Experience working with a developer or EPCI contractor on offshore structures.
  • Experience with HVDC offshore platforms.
  • Location: UK or EU. Hybrid working (office & WFH). Essential to have BoP / Equipment / O&M experience for offshore structures and an engineering degree. Experience can be either on offshore wind or oil & gas substations or platforms.
Qualifications
  • Senior mechanical engineering experience on BoP / equipment for offshore structures, ideally offshore substations.
  • Background in the design of offshore equipment for either oil & gas or offshore wind.
  • Experience in offshore engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, testing, operation, and maintenance.
  • Proven ability to work with developers and EPCI contractors on offshore projects.
