Job summary

A dynamic engineering company in Barton-under-Needwood is seeking a Mechanical Engineer on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for fault finding, maintenance of mechanical systems, and ensuring safety standards are met. The role offers £24-25 per hour, Monday to Friday, with a focus on mechanical repairs and plumbing tasks. This is a static position with no travel required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with pumps, motors, HVAC, pneumatics, and plumbing.
• Previous experience in a mechanical engineering or maintenance role.

Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team of an established company in the Barton Underneedwood area, on a temp basis.

• £24-25ph (paid weekly via umbrella)
• Monday to Friday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Temporary

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repair of various mechanical systems
• Working with pumps, motors, HVAC, pneumatics, and fluid systems
• Providing maintenance on plumbing and associated mechanical systems
• Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring safety standards are met
• Performing scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks across the site
• Assisting in the improvement of site equipment and systems

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• IPAF certification
• Experience working with pumps, motors, HVAC, pneumatics, plumbing, and fluids
• Previous experience in a mechanical engineering or maintenance role
