Qualifications

  • Experience as HGV Fitter / HGV Technician.
  • Plant Fitter experience.
  • Background in hydraulic fitting.
  • Experience as a vehicle technician.
  • Familiarity with aircraft engineering.
  • Experience as a mechanical fitter.
  • Knowledge of compressor engineering.
  • Experience in water treatment or pump engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and service equipment to specifications.
  • Complete documentation including reports and job sheets.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings.
  • Provide breakdown assistance.

Mechanical Engineer – Aylesbury. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Early finish Friday).

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer role is to join a leading multinational blue-chip company. This role is based on-site at a customer\'s manufacturing facility and involves inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of compressors, blowers, and pumping systems fitted to vehicles. Full training will be provided.

  • Inspect, repair, and service equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Complete all required documentation, including reports, inspections, calibration checks, and job sheets.
  • Undertake mechanical maintenance, testing, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, motors, and ancillary equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings.
  • Provide breakdown assistance
  • Carry out additional tasks including onboard vehicle smart system maintenance, vessel integrity checks, light body repairs, and general vehicle repairs.
