A leading water services provider is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join their Water Production team in Cleeve. In this role, you will use your mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain and repair essential equipment, ensuring operational efficiency. A competitive salary of up to £45,000 is offered, along with overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits, including a company van and tools. Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications and experience on industrial equipment.
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our Water Production team to work out of our Water Treatment Works in Cleeve, RG8 0BY.
As a successful candidate, you will use your mechanical & electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate, mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, ensuring that all of our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
Base Location: Cleeve - RG8 0BY.
Working Pattern: 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 3:36pm, plus standby rota payments & overtime opportunities can increase earning potential by up to a further £8,000-£10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
Company provisions: Company van, fuel card (company use only), PPE and all tools are provided.
You must be a time-served apprentice with an NVQ or C&G Level 3 in mechanical and electrical qualifications.
