A leading water company in Ashford is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to ensure the operational integrity of water production equipment. You will apply your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to maintain, test, and repair vital installations. The role offers a salary up to £45,000, a company van, and a comprehensive benefits package including a generous pension and health resources.
Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our Water Production Division, based at Ashford Common WTW Site. You will use your mechanical & electrical knowledge and experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision to ensure our sites remain operational for our customers.

Base Location - Ashford Common WTW – TW15 1RU
Working hours - 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 3:36 pm. Standby rota payments and overtime opportunities can increase earnings by up to £8,000-£10,000 per annum after essential company training.
Equipment - All PPE, tools, plus a van when on duty and on call. You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems or hold NVQ or C&G Level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering.
