About The Role

We are recruiting for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our expanding team based at our site in Howden. The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on rotating shift pattern.

The salary for this position ranges between £39,000 - £42,000 + Shift Allowance depending on the experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding, PLC, troubleshooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
  • To follow up any faults picked up on PPM's
  • Take ownership for working area; monitor key maintenance KPI's such as breakdowns and have a strong service‑department mind set towards the operations
  • Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
  • To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can‑do attitude

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering (Required)
