Job summary

The Mechanical Design Engineer will join our Rugby-based manufacturing team to design and develop precision components for aerospace, automotive, medical and engineering sectors. Based at UK Headquarters, you will work under the Engineering Manager to deliver CAD models and detailed drawings while maintaining design records.

You should have strong 3D design experience, ideally with Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Strong 3D design experience using Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Experience designing precision components, assemblies, sheet metal, fabricated, plastic parts.

Responsibilities

• Design technical products to meet customer expectations.
• Conduct feasibility reviews for new and modified product enquiries.
• Generate CAD models and detail drawings.
• Maintain accurate design records, including BOMs and design files.
