Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience working on machinery/rotating equipment looking for a progressive and diverse role, where you will be moulded into a rounded electromechanical engineer working on technically exciting R&D projects?

Are you looking to progress your career into a hands-on role where every day is different, within a special purpose machinery manufacturer who will invest heavily into your development through external design courses?

In this office-based role you will be working in a close-knit team to edit existing designs of large special purpose machinery using SolidWorks. You will then take on more responsibilities and work within R&D, handling multiple projects at once and get involved in customer site visits.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a varied, challenging role where they can grow their skill set and become a large part of a long-standing, privately owned company.

The Role:

• Designing special purpose machinery for global export
• Using SolidWorks (training given) to edit existing designs
• Handling multiple projects at once and involved in R&D
• Further training provided on SPM, along with external design/Team Leader courses
• Monday to Thursday 7:40am - 4pm, finish at 2pm on Friday, 38 hours a week
