Qualifications

  • HNC/HND (or degree) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • 4+ years’ design experience in Building Services, HVAC, Heating, Cooling, CHP, or Renewable Energy systems.
  • Competent in AutoCAD (Revit, IES-VE, or Hevacomp experience a plus).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Mechanical Design Engineer

The Opportunity

We’re looking for both an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's design team. This is a great opportunity to bring your experience to one of the UK's leading renewable energy contractors with the option to ultimately progress into a leadership role as part of a structured development plan.

You’ll play a key role in designing efficient, sustainable, and profitable renewable energy systems—from early concepts right through to detailed designs, drawings, equipment selection, and project delivery support. You’ll also work closely with senior engineers, mentor junior team members, and expand your knowledge across a wide range of low‑carbon technologies.

The Role
