Overview

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience within defence or nuclear industries, who has worked on pressure parts or vessels, looking to take the next step in your career working on security clearance projects for some of leading companies in the world?

For over 50 years, this well-established, family-owned company has completed fabrication, welding and manufacturing of pressure vessels and heat exchangers into various industries, predominantly nuclear and defence. Due to an ever-increasing workload and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking to expand their friendly team.

Role Responsibilities
  • Design and develop pressure vessels, pipework and heat exchangers according to specifications.
  • Perform calculations and simulations.
  • Work Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm, early finish 1:30pm on Fridays.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical Design Engineer experience on pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • 2D CAD & SolidWorks proficiency.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Nuclear/Defense background.
