Job summary

Polypipe Limited in Aylesford is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop and validate mechanical and electro-mechanical products within the Cistermiser and Keraflo range. You will work with external electrical designers to integrate electronics into mechanical platforms and produce CAD models, drawings and BOMs for manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems from concept to manufacture.
• Integrate electrical/electronic components with mechanical designs as needed.
• Produce CAD modules, drawings and BOMs for production.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation.
• Lead projects with timelines and budgets, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during production and assembly; introduce new products into production.
