Purpose of The Role

To be part of the technical design team that produces General Arrangement drawings, manufacture drawings & Bills of Materials for a variety of water & sewage treatment products and assisting the Technical Manager with product development and R&D projects.

The Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in delivering engineering excellence by:

  • Producing General Arrangement drawings, manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials for various water and sewage treatment products.
  • Collaborating with sales staff to ensure tailored solutions meet client needs.
  • Assisting with site measure‑ups and surveys to support operational success.
  • Engaging in product development and R&D initiatives with the Technical Manager.
The Person
  • 2D/3D CAD experience.
  • Ability to produce General Arrangement & Manufacturing drawings.
  • Knowledge & experience of Mechanical /Structural Engineering.
  • Ability to listen and learn and develop skills.
  • Good organisation skills & attention to detail.
  • Good level of numeracy.
  • A positive friendly attitude and flexible approach.
