Due to an exceptionally busy order book, they are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take projects from cradle to grave and make a direct impact on delivering high‑quality, innovative solutions.

The Role

In this varied and interesting role, you will be responsible for the design and development of special purpose machines from initial concept through to production. You will be a key part of our client's collaborative team, working on exciting projects such as magnetic field measuring machines, aircraft/automotive component assembly systems, and servo‑driven bearing presses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for automation, assembly, and testing applications.

Requirements/Experience Needed

• A minimum of 5 years' proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
• Strong background in Design of Special Purpose Machinery, test equipment, or automation
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong practical knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and servo motor systems is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner.
