Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with nuclear/defence experience looking to further your career in a varied role within an industry leading company offering on‑the‑job training and early finishes on Fridays to uphold your work‑life balance?

For over 50 years, this well‑established, family‑owned company has completed fabrication, welding and manufacturing of pressure vessels and heat exchangers for various industries, predominantly nuclear and defence. Due to an ever‑increasing workload and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking to expand their friendly team.

Role

• Design and develop pressure vessels, pipework and heat exchangers according to specifications.
• Perform calculations and simulations.
• Work Monday‑Thursday 8am‑5pm, early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays.

Person

• Mechanical Design Engineer with nuclear/defence background.
• Mechanical Engineering Degree.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD & SolidWorks.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
