Job summary

Vantage Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in the United Kingdom (London or Tamworth) to support the design of mechanical systems for clean and wastewater treatment assets. The role involves producing and checking calculations, specifications, schedules, and drawings, and assisting with equipment selection and technical evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; master's degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience in Mechanical engineering design, preferably within the water or wastewater industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Understanding of mechanical systems such as pumps, pipework, valves, rotating equipment, and materials.
• Familiarity with CDM regulations and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
